The purpose of the study is to present the economic and demographic outlook for the French-speaking world. It then examines Quebec’s positioning within the economic Francophonie before focusing on economic cooperation between Morocco and Quebec.<\/p>\n<h4>Highlights :<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Africa’s central role in the global Francophonie is set to grow.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to Africa, the population of the French-speaking world will more than double by 2065, exceeding one billion people.<\/li>\n<li>By 2065, almost 85% of French speakers will live on the African continent.<br \/>\nNo other language area will see such strong population growth over the period 2015-2065.<\/li>\n<li>Over the next few years, French will clearly assert itself as the world’s 2<sup>nd<\/sup> most important language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Close-up on Quebec-Morocco economic cooperation:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Over the past 20 years, Moroccan imports have grown by an average of 5.6% per year, with a 161% jump between 2013 and 2015 due to imports of fruit, aircraft parts and textiles.
