Mineral exploration contributes greatly to regional economic development, with 65% of the wealth generated redistributed to benefit Quebec\u2019s three major mining regions: Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue, Nord-du-Qu\u00e9bec, and C\u00f4te-Nord.
